With over 20 years experience in the field of social work and administration, Shannon’s past clinical experience includes interpersonal relationships, substance abuse, and mood disorders. She facilitates Relapse Prevention, Living in Balance, and Thinking For a Change and Cognitive Behavioral based groups. She trains Motivational Interviewing Techniques and Diversity and Cultural Awareness in the workplace.
Dr. Jordan earned her PhD in Human Services from Walden University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker having earned her Bachelors in Social Work with a minor in Psychology from the University of Missouri in St. Louis. She received her Masters in Social Work from Saint Louis University. Dr. Jordan is a licensed in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Dr. Jordan is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers-MD Chapter.

Patrice Callanan-Flagle, LCSW-C, ND, RYT 500 - Therapist

Patrice is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her Masters’ degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Maryland and received her Doctorate of Naturopathy from Clayton College of Natural Health. She has spent decades as meditation teacher and has studied meditation in India. She has a divorce mediation certification from the University of Maryland. She has a 200 RYT and 500 Hour RYT certification.
Patrice remains a life-long student of meditation and has studied meditation in India. She lives by and practices yogic scriptures, hatha yoga, Ayurveda, mindfulness, psychotherapy, and other philosophies and treatment modalities.
Patrice is committed to helping you find the best possible you, whether as an individual, couple, or family. She focuses on working together to build on existing strengths, to consciously develop new coping strategies for new challenges and opportunities.

Kendra Chisolm, LCSW, CSAC - Therapist

Kendra Chisolm is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who received her Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia and her Bachelor’s in Psychology (BA) from Drew University in Madison, N.J. She is also Certified in Substance Abuse Counseling (CSAC) and is a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP).
With over 25 years of experience in the field, she has diverse clinical experience with the adult and juvenile population and has been in private practice for more than a decade. She has devoted many years working in the following modalities: Detoxification, Inpatient, Outpatient, Detention, and Court.
Kendra has a passion for overall Wellness and believes in incorporating a holistic approach in treatment planning. Flexible in her therapeutic approaches, she recognizes that everyone has their own starting point.

Kenneth Ovitz, LCSW, CSAT - Therapist

Kenneth Ovitz, LCSW has over two decades of experience as a psychotherapist. He has worked with a diverse population of people and has experience treating people with a wide range of problems. He provides individual therapy and couples therapy, but specializes in treating trauma, addiction, and sexual behavior problems.
Ken earned a masters degree from Yeshiva University, and received a certificate in Social Work Supervision from New York University. Ken is currently a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical in the state of Maryland and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey. He attended training and received certification as both a Sex Addiction Therapist and a Certified Multiple Addictions Therapist from the International Institute for Trauma and Addictions Professionals. Ken is also a Certified Myers Briggs Type Instructor.
Ken has received additional clinical training in the Gottman Marital Therapy approach, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy, Psychodrama, Cognitive Behavioral Treatment Interventions for Insomnia, and Nutritional Integrative Medicine for Mental Health.

Ubax Hussen has nearly 30 years experience effectively engaging with diverse and fragile populations in varying roles, such as a clinical psychiatric social worker, health educator, program planner, public program manager and administrator, clinical supervisor and trainer, as well as researcher and grant reviewer.
Ms. Hussen holds concurrent graduate degrees in social work (MSW), with a major concentration in community organizing and a minor in qualitative research methods, and in public health (MPH) with a focus on health education and promotion. She also has additional certifications in trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, and disaster mental health care.

As iHeal Wellness’ practice administrator, Jay is a model of empathy and customer care in direct contact with clients, clinicians, and staff. He has decades of senior management, business operations, and customer service experience managing small to medium-sized businesses.
Jay takes care of the daily activities of iHeal Wellness. He ensures the facility is properly staffed by recruiting our therapists, physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and non-medical staff. His role is not only to oversee operations, but to infectiously spread positive ideas of possibility, the spirit of wellness, and good mental health.
